In November 2007 a group of 10-12 New Zealanders will head to Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Kolkata (India) to explore the humanitarian efforts that are going on there with a view to making a contribution both immediately and in the future. This is my part of that story...

Well. I made it through seeing R off at the airport. I managed to wade through the traffic and get there about an hour before he had to go through security. I thought I would be a complete blubbering mess, but managed to get through in pretty good nick, and still feeling excited even now i am home (alone!). There is so much opportunity and promise in the trip, which makes it much easier to be apart. And i know we are both being well looked after for this time.
R, all my love to you... you can take that out before you approve this post if you want ;-)
